Our country has just faced a tsunami of Covid 19 resulting in chaos and a large number of deaths during the second wave. We all have come across many families who have lost their loved ones.Many deaths were due to poor health infrastructure in our country. Perhaps avoidable! Our heart goes out to families who have immensely suffered due to Covid 19. Many families have lost their sole breadwinners during this pandemic.

Impacted families have never imagined such tragedy that turned their beautiful world upside down.

Many impacted families who were living happily before the Covid 19 with bright future aspirations, suddenly become unable to meet day to day expenses leave alone education and medical expenses of children/ senior members due to sole breadwinners’ death their current situation gradually may drag them down to unemployment, hunger, and debt trap.

We have come across many situations where there is no hope in the impacted families, and government help is very little or not available to them. As a result, children may not continue with their studies, and widows are unable to make ends meet. It will eventually have a very adverse impact on civil society at large.

We at Savram foundation, a group of professionals, have come forward to help these families and provide sustainable support. We want to help these families so that they do not fall below the poverty line and support them until they become financially independent. Our support includes financial aid, education, and medical expenses, counseling, and much more. Examples of a few cases where support is currently being provided by the SAVRAM Foundation:

Case 1: A family of four- Mother (60 years, requiring medical help), Mentally retarded son(37 years), daughter in law (31 years)- unemployed due to Covid and their adopted daughter (7years) being supported for monthly Household expenses by SAVRAM.

Case 2. A family of the illiterate mother ( 33 years) and very bright meritorious son ( 17 years) appeared in 12^th being supported for Household expenses, assistance in Job to mother and commitment to sponsor higher education of Son until completion by SAVRAM

Case 3. A family of a housewife (50 years) and bright daughter (21 Years) studying MBBS( 2^nd year) being supported for education expenses until completion by SAVRAM
